Alvin Shen is the CEO of SSW China and leads the SSW Hangzhou office. With over 18 years of experience across China and Australia, he is a seasoned technology leader who bridges cultures and drives strategic innovation.

Beginning his career as a .NET and SharePoint developer, Alvin embraced Scrum and agile methodologies early on. He later built and led a 70‑person startup before joining SSW, where he continues to merge technical expertise with business vision to help organizations scale effectively.

Alvin has extensive experience in applying Large Language Models (LLMs) across Eastern and Western markets, supporting clients in integrating localized AI solutions into their workflows. As a certified Scrum and Agile coach, he has trained more than 500 professionals, helping teams adopt agile frameworks and deliver sustainable results.

His key areas of focus include AI, China social media operations and promotion, Chinafy strategies, agile transformation, and cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure and Alibaba Cloud.

Beyond his executive responsibilities, Alvin leads FireUG — one of China’s most influential technical user groups with over 60,000 followers—and produces SSW China TV and FireUG TV to promote knowledge sharing and continuous innovation within the technology community.
